Dumpster Rental Terms & Conditions (Booking Agreement)

We believe in clear pricing and no surprise fees. These rules exist to keep pricing fair, ensure DOT compliance, and prevent landfill contamination charges. By booking, signing electronically, or accepting delivery, you agree to this Agreement and authorize Haul-My-Mess.com to charge your payment method on file for any applicable overages or additional fees.

Important: If you are unsure what material type you have, call or text us first. We will help you choose the correct dumpster size and avoid extra charges.

⚖️ Included Weight Allowance (All Dumpster Sizes)

Your rental includes disposal up to the included weight allowance assigned to the dumpster size booked. If your load exceeds the included allowance, overage charges apply.

Included Weight Allowance by Dumpster Size:

  • 10 Yard Dumpster: Includes up to 2.0 tons
  • 15 Yard Dumpster: Includes up to 2.5 tons
  • 20 Yard Dumpster: Includes up to 3.0 tons
  • 30 Yard Dumpster: Includes up to 4.0 tons
  • 35 Yard Dumpster: Includes up to 4.5 tons

Overage Rate: $75 per ton (rounded up to the nearest ton). Weight is determined by certified landfill/transfer station scale tickets. Documentation is available upon request.

Additional rental days beyond the included term:

  • $15 per day

Rental terms are not prorated.

📅 Pickup Scheduling (Pickup is NOT Automatic)

  • You must call or text (216) 799-9911 at least 24 hours in advance to schedule pickup.
  • Dumpster must be accessible and ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
  • Customer may be required to text a photo showing the load is level with or below the rim.

🚛 Standard Delivery Window (No Guarantee)

Standard deliveries are typically scheduled between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Due to landfill wait times, traffic, weather, equipment issues, route changes, and unexpected jobsite conditions, exact delivery and pickup times are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

⏱ Expedited Delivery Option (2-Hour Window)

If you require delivery within a secured 2-hour window, you may request Expedited Delivery for an additional $30 (subject to availability).

  • Expedited delivery must be requested at booking and is subject to schedule confirmation.
  • The expedited fee represents dedicated route planning and scheduling priority.
  • If Haul-My-Mess.com arrives more than 30 minutes after the confirmed 2-hour window due solely to Company scheduling error, the $30 expedited fee will be refunded.
  • To avoid expedited fees, customers may schedule delivery the prior day when possible.

Rental Terms & Conditions

At Haul-My-Mess, we believe in 100% transparency. Please review our service guidelines below to ensure a smooth, safe, and cost-effective rental experience.

1. Weight Allowances

Each rental includes a specific weight limit. To keep your costs low, ensure you choose the right debris type (Construction vs. Standard Trash) when booking.

Overages: Additional weight is billed at $90/ton for Standard Trash and $50/ton for Construction Debris.

2. How to Avoid Extra Charges

We want your rental to be fee-free! Please keep the following in mind:

  • Clear Access: Ensure no cars, equipment, or low wires block our truck. ($175 trip fee applies for unsuccessful attempts).
  • On-Time Cancellations: Modify or cancel at least 24 hours before delivery to avoid a $125 late-change fee.
  • The "Level Load" Rule: For legal transport, all debris must be level with or below the rim so we can secure our tarp. Overfilled bins will incur a $175 trip charge.
  • Keep it Moving: Rentals include a set period. Extensions are just $15 per day.
Pro-Tip: You are responsible for scheduling your pickup. Call 216-799-9911 at least 24 hours before you want the bin removed.

3. Prohibited Materials

Per federal and Ohio EPA regulations, the following items cannot be placed in our containers. If unacceptable materials are found, we reserve the right to off-load the bin on-site.

  • Liquids, Paints, or Solvents
  • Batteries & Aerosol Cans
  • Chemicals & Herbicides
  • Tires & Propane Tanks
  • Asbestos & Medical Waste
  • Oils (Motor, Hydraulic, Trans)
  • Flammable/Explosive Materials
  • Radioactive Material

Note on Yard Waste: Tree stumps, branches, and grass must never be mixed with other materials. This requires a dedicated "Yard Waste" container.

4. Property & Equipment Safety

  • Driveway Protection: Haul-My-Mess is not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, or trees. We recommend placing plywood down to protect your surfaces.
  • Placement: Our drivers will not place containers in unsafe areas. Once placed, do not move the container. (Relocation fee: $150).
  • Loading: Close and lock the back door normally before you finish loading. Do not force doors shut.

5. The Legal Essentials

This agreement is a legally binding contract. By confirming your order, you authorize Haul-My-Mess to charge the card on file for any weight overages, fines, or damage repairs found upon disposal. We utilize local landfills and will notify you of any overage charges within 5 business days of disposal.
